To choose an output location:
Choose Archiver > Preferences and click General.
From the “Output files to” pop-up menu, choose your preferred output location.
You can choose where Archiver will output files.

Choosing “Same folder as input files” means that Archiver will output the files to the same folder as the input files. For example, if you open an archive on your Desktop, Archiver will output the files to the Desktop too. This is the default option.
With the “Ask me” option, Archiver will ask you each time where to output the files.
When you choose “Other…” you can choose an output folder. For example, you can set Archiver to output all files to your Downloads folder.
